Galentines Day at Walt Disney World

Ask any girl the significance of February 13 and Galentines day is sure to come up. A day created for celebrating the love between gal pals. Some of my favorite Disney trips have been those I have taken with my best friends.

To celebrate this wonderful day, let’s take a look at my favorite things I have done with my girlfriends at Walt Disney World. I sure hope some of these come back soon!

  1. Tutto Gusto- Tucked inside the Italy Pavilion in Epcot is this gem filled with cool air, amazing snacks, and a plethora of wine. Many an afternoon have I spent in there with a class of Rosa Regale, a plate of cheese, and great friends.
  2. Behind the Scenes Tour- I have taken several tours with my friends and have never been disappointed. Its a great way to share your passion for the parks and enjoy time together. Some of my favorites include Marceline to Magic and Keys to the Kingdom. Both are incredible tours. Another fantastic choice is The Wild Africa Trek in Animal Kingdom.
  3. California Grill- This restaurant takes up prime real estate atop the Contemporary resort and overlooking the Magic Kingdom. One of my favorite things to do with my friends is go up and sit at the bar and have a little cocktail before we head out to the parks for the evening. Bonus points here for spectacular sushi!
  4. Senses Spa- Let’s face it; there is really no better way to enjoy time with your friends than getting pampered. Senses not only has the best lounge (the heated lounge chairs are a must) but in all my travels, I have not had a better massage.
  5. Fireworks Dessert Party- There are several different options for desserts and fireworks and Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios and I have done them all. I have never left a single party disappointed and have always enjoyed my time with my friends and some chocolate. It is a great way to splurge a little when you are enjoying your pals. Pro tip- If you do the Happily Ever After Dessert Party-opt for the plaza garden view. Not only does it cost a little less, but the view is better!
