As a travel planner, my guests ask me a lot of questions. One that comes up with almost all of my clients is what is my favorite Disney Resort. I am absolutely lucky that I have stayed at every on site hotel for at least a night and can give an honest answer.
For years, my favorite resort was Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and no doubt I still am in love with that place, but another resort has stolen my heart; Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
There are so many things to love about this hotel. It is on the monorail line and more than that you can access the TTC by walking path making it, in my opinion, the most transportation friendly hotel!
The dining choices are incredible. Kona, Ohana, Spirit of Aloha and Captain Cookes all right at your finger tips. You’ll find most dining options inside the Great Ceremonial House, but there are many other dining and snack options around the property including the Pineapple Lanai that serves up Dole Whips and the new Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.

The view from my theme park view room in the Hawaii Bldg. They play the wishes music on the beach, so this quite literally is the best seat to see the fireworks!
Let’s not forget how cool the over water Bora Bora bungalows are!
Both the volcano pool and the quiet pool have been recently updated and they are both spectacular.
Their club level is simply the best on property.
